Please note that, due to unnecessary difficulty getting access through some stations, this trip has been cancelled and replaced with Akatarawa Forest.
You must RSVP your attendance and be a member or associated with a member of the club to attend this special ride.
We will be meeting in Featherston on the corner of Western Lake Road and SH2, then driving in convey to start our ride at the Wharepapa Woolshed, where there is secure parking for vehicles and trailers.
We will be running down to Lake Ferry and beyond if the lake is closed. Then back up the lake side to Wharepapa Station through to Pounui Station completing various tracks around Lake Pounui. After that we are running through to Wharekauhau completing a few more tracks and river crossings. If required a refuel then back to the beach to the Mukamukas up a few more tracks and onto some great views.
This will be a full day, so we need to have fully fuelled bikes and in very good working order to complete the day's riding.
This is a very exciting ride for the club and we all looking forward to a full days riding.
